Once in a great while a product comes along that far exceeds expectations. We believe the Epilight is that product. The Epilight works so well because it is a combination of two things: multiple LEDs and a photo quality, extra large diameter lens.

LEDs: There are five ultra bright, white LEDs in a ring surrounding the lens. This puts the light exactly where
it is needed. A good magnifier without good light is less than optimal The LEDs provide brilliant white lighting for anything in the viewing area. A switch illuminates a set of ten supplemental LEDs activated through a polarising filter to use with glossy materials.

The Epilight was designed for dermatologists to examine skin lesions and to determine whether or not to do a iopsy.

The Epilight may be too much magnifier for you! Unless you have a specific use such as examining engraving on stamps, you may find it too powerful. Low vision uses are for severe vision loss. The Epilight has helped people with 20/200 and 20/400 visions, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration as well as other severe vision problems.
